When you can't even trust your own heart;

Wow, it has been a really long time since I blogged.
Well, properly.

It's nearly the end of the first quarter of 2011 already.
I'm scared/amazed/excited at how fast time is actually moving.
Day after day, and it can't be rewound.
However, so many things happened in this short quarter of 2011.
& 2 things, changed my life forever.

1. I BECAME A DROPOUT.

Was this a hard decision for me? Of course it was. I thought through it many many times, weighing the odds and stuff. Thinking back to when I was considering if I should leave college, I realized what I couldn't put down the most was the people there. Every single one of them who I've come to know, love and fought with. Come to think of it, whatever happened to low profile?(:

The people. They are an awesome bunch of people. Really. Although it was only for a few months, it feels like we've known each other since like forever. My PDG especially, forever so supporting. I'll never forget how they have been there to push me on, to hold me hand, to assure me that whatever decision I make they would support me till the end. Even when they know it's gonna hurt either ways.

My tennis team. We're not a strong team, definitely not. But we certainly do have a burning passion for tennis. (: We're not like the seeded players who literally creates a void on the court with every ball they hit. We...we just play for the love of playing. Sure, all the perspiration, screams and blood, hahaha, yeah blood. All the feelings just made it so difficult to leave.

The randoms. The bits and pieces of random people that made my life at AJC so much more interesting. From camps, orientation and those"we-just-became-friends-i-forgot-how-though". I remember how I keep bumping into them and told them that I was leaving and most of them said "I know. :(" to me. I have no idea how news got out since I did not speak a word about it. One even stop me while I was tumbling to another place and asked about my plans. I don't know but it felt so warm to know that they care.(:

2. I EXPERIENCED GOD'S MIRACLE.

Why did I dropout then? Not considering the human factor, I could have stayed on for another year and probably be faster than the new students that would enter the horrendous college. To be ahead of them, ain't that less tough? Should I? Should I not? No one would agree to me transferring to another institution to waste anymore time. Logically, I should just retain and sit for the A levels the year after. Maybe I would do better. However, I was unwilling to put myself through another year of hell. I know I hated college life and forcing me through another year of it wouldn't change anything. People always say :"If you never try, you'll never know." I tried.

While I was pondering, my aunt suddenly sat next to me asked if I wanted to transfer to a polytechnic instead. I was stunned. Or rather, I didn't believe her words at first. She was the one who objected so strongly to me going to a polytechnic and caused my whole family (yes I have a BIG family) to follow her suit and objected too. No matter how much I tried to fight for my own rights, I failed.

A decision between the heart and the mind? I chose the former.

"It is important to know what you do not want. Sometimes when you go through a period of great difficulty and struggle, it is so that you can finally realize what you do NOT want in your life. Then finally, at long last, you can embrace what you DO want."

God never forsakes.

In the middle of the night;

Just completed this, like finally.

Truth hasn't sunk in.
Reality hasn't hit me.
So tell me why,
this heart feels so empty.
Stuck in sweet lies,
lost in honey-coated times.

How could you move on so quickly,
without me, without me.
Why ain’t you running back,
just for me, back for me.
Hoping wouldn’t help, praying won’t ease the pain.

So just go, fade away,
you were never meant to stay.
Those eyes, all lies,
told me we share something strong.
You cut me so deep,
said I was liability.

Forgive me my dear boy.
Cause I heal quick, now I feel free.
Nothing’s gonna hold me back now~
Oh oh oh, yeah~

New year. New Beginnings. New possibilities.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! ^.^

How's the first day of the year going for everyone?
Well, be it good or bad, we still have a long long year to walk through,
and before you know it, we'll be done with 2011 too! ^.^

Firstly, I would like to say THANK YOU to all my friends that were my life in 2010,
making that year such an awesome year!
It has been tough trying to get used to JC life,
and without them, I would not have survived.
Old friends, new friends, thank you for giving me support & love throughout 2010.
We'll live 2011 well. ^.^v
For those taking A levels this year, ALL THE BEST! HUAT AH!
For those moving on to year 2, JIAYOU YOU'LL BE HALFWAY THROUGH SOON! ^.^
Okay just kidding. Work hard & all the best for GPAs!
For those in the 'other' category, KEEP FIGHTING & NEVER GIVE UP!

Secondly, I would like to say thank you to my idols, 동방신기 & UKISS!

I can say that whenever I feel sad, down, depressed, dejected,
I can always turn to their music & recover.
Especially with the encouragement from their twitter,
it makes it even close to the heart.
Although it's a general encouragement to millions of fans out there,
but sometimes, when you're really in a bad shape,
their messages really works like wonders.
Like you know, someone out there has got your back.
That's why idols are hard to be, they've many back to support, including their own. (:

Alrighto, to end off, once again,
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE OUT THERE!
May everyone complete their new year resolutions!
FIGHTING!

Happy birthday Xiah Jun Su! (:

Happy birthday Xiah Kim Jun Su! ^.^
I didn't type you a birthday blog post wish on your real birthday because I just came home from China!
So I decided to do it on your registered birthday today!

I've always loved the dorky side of you & I still love it!
Thank you for being with TVXQ and Cassiopiea for the past 7 years.
Or maybe 9 years for you and the members. (:
Although TVXQ is not standing on stage as 5 now, but I believe you want to reunite with HoMin right?
I saw Micky's rap, you three still think of them.
All the best in Japan as JYJ!

The color of deception. I call it gray.

No, people don't change. Environment does.

I found that above picture from one of my friend's blog and started to ponder over it.
I could actually write a whole essay on it while beating around the bush. A little.
However, I have no time and no energy which is the main factor actually, and thus,
I'm not going to bore anyone that actually still reads my blog with my 'essay'.

We always talk about people changing.
Yeah they do, we do.
Because we move on, in different phases of life.
Having different experiences that causes us to have changed in the eyes of others that were there during your previous phase or phases of life.
Take students for example, moving on from secondary to tertiary education,
we change according to our new environment.
Or more specifically, we change to suit our environment, to blend in.

I call that animal instincts.
You may argue, what for change to suit the environment?
Why do you need to blend in?
Why don't you just remain yourself?
Why do you have to change yourself for others?
It all boils down to survival. Of what degree, it differs for everyone I guess.

Now think.
When we've run out of topics with our best friends, is it really the human factor?
Or is it actually the environmental factor?

Ah, now we see, the gray gray world.

It's thanksgiving. Give thanks.

I am suppose to be studying,
but yet I'm updating this blog that no one really reads anymore.
Partially due to me neglecting the blog beh.
Heh, SORRY~

Don't know why when Wanyi's friend went in for operation I felt the anxiousness too.
Probably because I've never seen her like this before?
& now she's okay.
It's time to give thanks.
However, I'm worried about Wanyi, her lungs felt tired before she logged off without a word.
& when I text her I just can't reach her. Aish.
Okay now I'm super worried, because I can't get her via calls either.

I can't continue anymore.
